A year in review - 2017.
2017, what a year you have been! If I could sum this year up in one word, it would be "growth". With growth, comes change, and moments of heart ache and loss. I made mistakes, and hope to learn from them and rectify them if possible. Today however, the moments that resonate the most are the goods ones. I and this little idea of Studio FIG grew in so many ways - two studios, our first stationery collection, Creative Morning, the Everyday Pop-Up, and most importantly, being surrounded and supported by an amazing community. More than ever, my heart is filled with so much gratitude.
The list of people I owe thanks to is very long. In no way could I have been here, if it weren't for the support and love of so many. But you, my patrons, I owe the greatest thanks to you. For showing up and supporting me, for sending me words of kindness in moments of good and bad, and for shopping with me, and all the other moments in between.
2018, my theme is still growth, but this time out of my comfort zone. The first half of the year will be spent continuing creating and editing the Everyday Collection & launching a Kickstarter campaign, as well as attending the National Stationery Show in May. I hope to introduce our first interior home decor collection, along with a plan to blog more; striving to produce more DIY (live and blog post) and life-style ideas and designs.
Other than that, I don't really know what's in store for 2018, but I will strive to create from nothing but love, to do what I love, and to live with love.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
